Hope Hurts

Sometimes hope hurts.
There's so much uncertainty with it.

You yearn for something,
   desire something,
      want something so bad
and you only have hope to suffice.
Only problem is sometimes

it doesn't.

Those are the days that hope hurts.

You're just waiting.

Hoping and waiting

to have what you want

and,

hopefully,

many pleasant surprises to come along with it.
